We’re extremely excited to announce Sprocket, Clockworks’ AI chat.
Sprocket lets you jump into a conversation with Clockworks and use all the data and performance information from across your building portfolio to get actionable information quickly. Ask complex questions and get intelligent responses, with charts and links to the diagnostics, tasks, and data behind every answer.
Your AI Building Assistant
Sprocket is Clockworks’ AI chat. It lives in the Clockworks portal, and allows you to ask questions about your diagnostics, tasks, equipment, and trend data in plain language. For example, you could ask:
- “What should I focus on today?”
- “Summarize all task activities over the last 7 days.”
- “How much energy am I wasting per building over the last 12 months?”
Sprocket answers from the same trusted data that powers Clockworks, from raw trend data to engineered diagnostics. That’s 600,000+ pieces of equipment modeled in our information model and 50+ expert systems running advanced analytics every day.

AI tools are only as smart as the data underneath them. That is exactly why Sprocket is able to provide an unprecedented level of actionable intelligence that no smart buildings AI tool on the market today can match. What do I get back?
A short answer you can act on. Click a link to open the issue and create a task. Ask for a visual and Sprocket builds an interactive chart right in the chat.
Is my building data safe?
Yes. Your data stays where it lives today, in the Clockworks Azure environment. Sprocket only sees what you’re already allowed to see, and the AI model provider doesn’t train its models on your data.
Can Sprocket browse the web or read my files?
No. Sprocket has no web browsing and no file uploads. Guardrails keep it on building topics.
Who can use Sprocket?
Sprocket is available to all Clockworks clients.
What’s next for Sprocket?
Sprocket is coming to every part of Clockworks. Each chat will know what page you’re on and what filters you’ve applied. A new MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server will also connect Clockworks AI to tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
