Here’s the latest on two major updates that just went live in Clockworks. These features have been designed to streamline your workflow and give you better visibility into your diagnostic data.
Quick Reference Diagnostics from Tasks
So, here’s the big one: you can now view diagnostics directly from your task workflows without jumping between different screens. This is going to be a game-changer for how you validate whether issues are actually resolved.
What’s New
We’ve added a diagnostics column right in your task table with a handy icon showing when diagnostics are linked to specific tasks. Click it, and boom! You’re looking at relevant diagnostic data instantly.
Key Capabilities
- Flexible Time Ranges: Set your preferred lookback period – whether that’s 7 days or 3 months, the view respects your filters
- Weekly Interval Charts: Perfect for tracking longer-term trends and validating task completion
- Original vs Current Views: Toggle between what was happening when you created the task and what’s happening now – super helpful for confirming you’ve actually fixed the issue
- Granular Fault Analysis: Highlight specific faults and intervals to drill into exactly what’s going on
The best part? Everything happens inline so no more navigating away from your task list to check if those faults are still occurring.
Bulk Point Editing is Here
The second big update is all about saving you time – bulk editing in Portal means you can now modify dozens of points in seconds instead of clicking through them one by one. Think about all those repetitive point adjustments you need to make across a building? That just got way easier.
What You Can Now Do
- Filter and select multiple points at once
- Adjust point classes and types across your entire selection
- Modify power, multiply, and addition settings for Boolean points
- Update common point types across an entire building in one go
This is particularly useful when you need to tweak how data flows into Clockworks across multiple similar points.
Getting Started
Both features are live now in your Portal. The diagnostic viewing respects whatever filters you’ve already set up, and bulk editing is available right from your points table.
