Feature Enhancement: Diagnostics Tasks
Clockworks users can now preview the release of Tasks, a powerful new feature within our Diagnostics platform that bridges the gap between insight and action for building operations teams.
What is Tasks?
Tasks enables operations teams to create actionable items directly from diagnostic results, transforming equipment insights into structured workflows. You can now generate tasks directly from the Diagnostics (preview) feature by selecting specific combinations of equipment performance results you want to address.

Coming May 15: Enhanced Subtask Management
Feature Enhancement: Comprehensive Subtask Management
Our May 15 release will expand Tasks functionality with advanced subtask capabilities:
- View, Edit, and Remove Subtasks: Manage all subtasks through an intuitive interface
- Independent Subtask Creation: Create maintenance subtasks unrelated to diagnostic faults
- Streamlined Validation: Quickly verify fault resolution status
- Maintenance Workflow Integration: Add routine maintenance items (filter replacements, bearing lubrication, etc.) as subtasks within your existing task structure
This enhancement allows maintenance teams to consolidate all equipment work—both fault-related and routine maintenance—in a single, organized workflow system.

Deployment Ticket Integration
Feature Update: Enhanced Ticketing System
The Tasks release introduces expanded ticketing functionality that bridges deployment and diagnostics workflows:
- Create tickets directly within Deployments or from the Diagnostics interface
- Manage Data Connectivity issues, Information Requests, and Diagnostic QA in one system
- New Deployment QA action available in Diagnostics when a Deployment filter is applied
- Automatic ticket association with the relevant Deployment for centralized tracking

Tickets created through this new action are automatically added to the Deployment and displayed alongside other Deployment QA, Data Connectivity, and Information Request tickets for comprehensive workflow management.


Implementation Timeline
The Tasks preview is available immediately to all users with access to our Diagnostics preview feature. We encourage you to explore these new capabilities and provide feedback through our product portal.
